SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: August 1, 2026
These SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern text messages sent by Voonami, Inc. (“Voonami,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By enrolling in a Voonami text messaging program, you agree to these SMS Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
1. Program Description
Voonami operates text messaging programs that provide non-promotional, service-related communications. Depending on the program in which you enroll, messages may include:
- Service availability and outage notifications;
- Incident, restoration, and service-status updates;
- Planned and emergency maintenance notifications;
- Customer-support and ticket updates;
- Internal on-call notifications and incident escalations for authorized Voonami employees and contractors; and
- One-time passcodes and telephone-number verification codes.
Voonami does not use these programs to send third-party marketing or promotional messages.
2. Enrollment and Consent
Status-page subscribers enroll by visiting status.voonami.com, selecting the text-message subscription option, entering a mobile telephone number, reviewing the SMS consent disclosure, and selecting “Agree and Subscribe.”
After submitting a telephone number, the subscriber receives the following confirmation request:
“Thanks for signing up to receive status updates. Reply 1 to confirm your subscription.”
The subscription is not activated unless the recipient replies 1 to confirm.
Authorized Voonami employees and contractors may enroll separately through Voonami’s internal on-call and notification systems. These recipients must provide or confirm their mobile telephone number and verify possession of the number before SMS notifications are enabled.
By enrolling, you represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided, or that you are authorized by the subscriber to enroll that number. You agree to provide an accurate and current mobile number.
Consent to receive Voonami status text messages is not a condition of purchasing or using Voonami products or services.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on service incidents, maintenance activity, account activity, support events, and on-call assignments. Some periods may have no messages, while active incidents or maintenance events may generate multiple updates.
4. Message and Data Charges
Message and data rates may apply to messages sent by Voonami and messages you send to Voonami. Charges are determined by your wireless carrier and mobile-service plan. Voonami does not charge a separate fee for subscribing to service-status text messages.
5. How to Opt Out
You may cancel messages at any time by replying STOP.
After you reply STOP, the messaging network will send a confirmation that messages from the number have been blocked. You will receive no additional messages from that sending number unless you subsequently opt in again.
To resume messages after opting out, reply START or UNSTOP. The messaging network will confirm that messages have been enabled again.
Opting out of one Voonami messaging number or program may not opt you out of a different Voonami messaging number or program. Follow the opt-out instructions provided for each program.
6. Help and Support
For messaging assistance, reply HELP.

7. Supported Carriers and Message Delivery
SMS availability depends on your wireless carrier and mobile device. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and other network providers. Voonami cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered, delivered without delay, or available in every geographic area.
Status and on-call text messages are provided as a convenience. They should not be treated as the sole source of information during an outage, emergency, or other time-sensitive event. Current public service information may also be available at status.voonami.com.
8. Mobile Number Changes
You agree to opt out before transferring, discontinuing, or relinquishing a mobile number enrolled in a Voonami messaging program.
If you acquire a mobile number previously used by another person and receive unwanted Voonami messages, reply STOP or contact Voonami Support at 801-995-4050.
9. Privacy and Information Sharing
Voonami uses mobile numbers, consent records, and related messaging information to operate, maintain, secure, and support its messaging programs.
Voonami does not sell mobile telephone numbers or SMS consent information. Voonami will not share mobile information or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Voonami may disclose information to telecommunications carriers, messaging providers, and other service providers solely as necessary to deliver and operate the messaging program, maintain security, prevent fraud, comply with law, or fulfill a recipient’s request.
For additional information about Voonami’s collection and use of personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
10. Program Availability and Changes
Voonami may suspend, modify, or discontinue a messaging program or its features at any time. Voonami may also update these SMS Terms by posting a revised version on this page and changing the effective date.
Changes will apply prospectively to continued participation in the applicable messaging program. If you do not agree to revised SMS Terms, you may stop participating by replying STOP.
