Orem, UT/March 2, 2009 — Voonami, Inc., a provider of outsourced IT infrastructure and data center solutions, has named Kelly Sawyer as Director of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Voonami, Sawyer was District Sales Manager and Director of Marketing at Consonus, where she was responsible for overseeing one of the highest growth periods in company history. She joins Voonami with more than 20 years of experience in technology, business development, engineering, sales and marketing.
As a self-described “businesswoman who loves technology and helps translate it as a business enabler,” Sawyer thrives on helping businesses leverage technology to increase their bottom line. “I’m thrilled to join Voonami’s team of data center, cloud computing infrastructure and managed services experts who believe their customers and employees are their most important assets,” said Sawyer.

Sawyer is up for the challenge presented by the position at a growing company like Voonami. “Voonami is well-poised to be the cloud computing, hosting and managed services leader in Utah. Our plan to build a 100,000-square-foot data center while delivering 300 watts per square foot has captured a lot of interest in the business community,” said Sawyer.
In addition to her position at Voonami, Sawyer currently sits on the board of directors for Utah’s Women Tech Council, a non-profit organization benefiting women in all levels of the technology industry in the state.
